I received a response letter from Mary Kay. It was a generic customer service letter that did not address anything I asked... I guess from here I need to call them. I wanted to have everything in writing, but it seems they aren't going to respond... I will keep you "posted" :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I got no where with their customer service. They tried to tell me that they only use "safe" amounts of the carcinogens and hormone disruptors in their products. They also refused to let me return my products to them :( I really wanted to get my money back so that I could invest it into safer products, and into a company that cares about their customers. I am very disappointed, but this is the exact reason that I am so inspired to tell others about this issue. I really hope everyone researches this topic. If you are loyal to a brand, please make sure that the company has signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics, and that they are "Full Member Status".
